HOW WE OPERATE
GENERAL:
- A number of dedicated volunteers toil behind the scenes in order to produce the product seen on the field.
HONOUR SYSTEM:
- We accept registrations based on honesty and integrity.
- False or misleading information will result in the immediate de-registration of your child with no refund of fees.
CONSULTATION:
- We are always available to speak to anyone.
- Respect demands respect. If you cannot approach us in a civil manner, the discussion will be short lived.
- Any intimidation or abuse of our volunteers will result in the immediate de-registration of your child with the refund of registration fees less an administration fee and the return of the uniform provided.
CLUB RULES:
- When you register your child, you agree to abide by all Club rules.
- If you have a concern, please consult with us before you register.
- Rules are necessary in order to keep good order. We cannot make up rules as we go along neither can there be a separate rule for each and everyone.
PROGRAMME:
- The programme we execute is for youths. Their evening on the field is for their enjoyment, to get some exercise and to interact with their peers.
- Parents involvement is only to be spectators. Parents are not allowed to dissent referees’ decisions or to verbally abuse the referees or opposing players.
- Our young referees are there to keep control of the game, with as little interruptions as possible. They do their best, and that is all we can expect. No one can expect world cup officiating from them.
- The House League Programme is a non descript, no pressure affair. The luck of the draw determines on which team your son/daughter may end up. Regardless of the score, there are neither winners nor losers , so please do not spend the summer complaining about how disadvantaged your son/daughter's team is.
LETTER TO THE COMMUNITY General This is solely a volunteer based organization. As parents, you only see the end product, teams playing a game of soccer on the field. However, before that can happen, there are a myriad of things, which have to take place behind the scenes. Without going into the boring details, think of us in this way:
" Every individual works for a company, organization etc. In order for that entity to be successful and for you to keep earning a pay cheque, a successful organizational structure has to be in place. Take that successful organizational structure away and the good life as we know it disappears".
In our organization, the successful organizational structure is the volunteer base. This volunteer base is dwindling. This is happening for a variety of reasons:
- People migration
- People getting fed up
- People getting worn out
- People being taken for granted
Finances:
Finances in organizations like ours come from the following sources:
- Registration Fees
- Fund Raising
- Sponsorship
- Government Assistance
Our finances is composed of the following
- Registration Fees 90%
- Fund Raising 00%
- Sponsorship 10%
- Government Assistance 00%
All activities are financed from the modest registration fees paid.
Some say our fees are ridiculously low. However, we intend to remain a community based Club affordable to all sectors of society.
